DJ Cuppy bestow blessings on her sister, Temi Otedola on her acting journey
The billionaire’s daughter, Temi Otedola who made a big impression on her acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s movie “Citation” is causing an uproar in the movie industry as she gets nominated in the Best of Nollywood (BON) awards 2020.
Temi Otedola plays the lead role in “Citation” as a bright student in Nigeria who takes on the academic establishment when she reported a popular professor who tried to rape her.
Those kicking against her nomination argued that it would usually take a year after the release to earn a nomination, rather it has taken Temi less than a month. While some think that her father’s influence or popularity may have come into play, others believe her debut exploit deserves a slot on the nomination list.
However, a bystander known as @folawealth took to Twitter to remark all that is happening. “Temi Otedola’s acting career will be better than DJ Cuppy’s music career.” He wrote And the sister, DJ Cuppy, replies, “Amen”.
